The Observational Medical Outcomes Partnership was a public-private partnership established to inform the appropriate use of observational healthcare databases for studying the effects of medical products. The OMOP common data model transforms observational health data into a common format that allows real-world evidence to be generated using OHDSI standardized analytical methods and tools.
